About This Project
The grand re-opening of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, which was devastated by flooding the previous year. After hundreds of millions of dollars in repair, the message was clear – the Gaylord Opryland is back and better than ever.
The Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center hired Corporate Magic to plan and produce a three-day extravaganza for an elite group of meeting planners and travel industry executives to showcase the grand re-opening of their hotel. The three-day event included a spectacular outdoor Christmas tree and hotel lighting ceremony for the public and the media, as blockbuster Friday-night production in the hotel’s atrium and performances by Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban. All were enhanced by video, choreography, staging, lighting and a cast of more than 300 dancers, musicians, singers and performers. Special Events Magazine presented Corporate Magic with their prestigious “2011 Gala Award” for their work on the event.
